Winner of the BRAZIL Cup of Excellence 2019 - Organic Coffee Farms Last updated: July 9

One of the globally interesting terms is sustainable agriculture, integrating the environment and agriculture to preserve and value the environment. Among the producers I met in this regard, I would like to introduce the farm in Alto de Caparaó - Minas Gerais. The farm seeks an ecological way of farming and managing agriculture without the use of pesticides and as little chemical interference as possible.

To avoid rapid soil erosion, WeCoffeeing partner producers cultivate various other types of fruit trees (guava, peach, banana) and vegetables in addition to coffee. The reason for this is that the farm's location is at the highest point of the area and has a steep incline that prevents coffee plants from being damaged by weather or erosion by planting other trees

Coffee plants are shaded by trees and the altitude of over 1,300 meters allows coffee to grow in excellent conditions. Moreover, weeds and fallen plant leaves from various trees act as natural fertilizers for coffee, acting as good nutrients for coffee to produce high-quality coffee.

Operating these farms allowed the producer to win the title of best coffee in Brazil in 2019.

우We prioritize coffee quality over quantity, so we pay a lot of attention to coffee planting

In recent years, many people have noticed a significant increase in demand for organic coffee. If you're looking for ecological organic coffee, check out the organic coffee from this farm!
