Brazil Coffee Festival São Paulo 2022

The 2022 Coffee Festival was held from Friday, June 24th to 26th, at the exhibition event of the São Paulo Biennial Foundation in Ibirapuera Park, São Paulo.

At the coffee festival, around 50 vendors showcased coffee-related items such as coffee beans, roasting machines, and coffee makers. Furthermore, by tasting the coffees, attendees were able to experience the flavor of freshly brewed coffee and personally meet producers and operators, learning about various types of coffee. On one side, the Brazilian Barista Championship promoted by the BSCA (Brazil Specialty Coffee Association) was taking place, along with various workshops including explanations about coffee flavor.

Brazil is known as one of the largest coffee-producing countries. However, concerns about the quality and processing of Brazilian coffee beans have grown in recent years. Thus, the specialty coffee category emerged, leading to the proliferation of specialty coffee shops. This made it an important experience to get to know the specialty coffee scene through the coffee festival, and to make our mark.
