Special Geisha, Cajamarca

Wicking's partner producers in the Chirrinos region in Cajamarca have 4 hectares of land at an altitude of 1,700~1,950 m. The producer is a second-generation farmer and has been working on the farm since 1997.

He explained that the Chirrinos region has excellent climatic conditions for coffee production. Last year, an international competition was held to award the best Peruvian coffee of 2022. This award was promoted by Central Café and Cacao in Peru. 211 specialty coffee producers from 111 regions participated, and this was considered one of the best coffee producers in Peru, with a selection of 29 coffees scoring 87~90 or more in the tasting session

On this farm, yellow and red Geisha varieties are grown. He takes pride in providing everything for his family through coffee and also takes pride in the quality of his coffee, which requires a lot of effort and care.
