The farm has been a coffee farm for generations, since my great-grandfather purchased it. At that time, there wasn't much awareness about specialty coffee, so even though the market for specialty green coffee beans wasn't well-developed, your father would buy specialty coffee seedlings and plant them in a small area of the farm, which was the first specialty coffee seedling planted in the region. The producer explained that since 2005, the company began to expand the cultivation of green coffee beans for specialty coffees, and the cultivated varieties are focused on specialty coffees .

The farm is family-owned, and most farms in the area are family-owned. The area is sloped, so all the harvesting is done by hand, not by machine, which takes a lot of time, but we are harvesting high-quality coffee.

And the farm has all the necessary facilities for the production of specialty coffees. Compared to the rest of Brazil, the climate is colder in the region, so the harvest takes place later than in other regions (July-November). That's why, if necessary, processing is done using a vinyl house, and the most commonly used processing method is the honey process.

The main varieties harvested on this farm are Catuai 2SL and Catuai 81. These coffees have floral aromas, sugarcane sweetness, and bright acidity, so if you are a fan of these specialty coffees, it's worth trying the local coffees too!
