Mantiqueira de Minas Region - Special Red Bourbon Farm

The state of Minas is known as the most famous place in Brazil for specialty coffees. The current Weckaping Specialty Red Bourbon Farm is located in the city of Carmo de Minas and received the title of World's Best Coffee by the COE (Cup of Excellence) in 2005. And the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) shocked the world with an unbelievable score of 95.85 points.

The farm has existed for over 100 years and has been passed down through eight generations. The farm is located at an altitude of 1,450 meters above sea level, and the coffee is produced in the shade zone, producing high-quality coffee. In recent years, it has been recognized as high-quality coffee in Korea, Japan, Europe, and other countries, and has continued to be exported."

Furthermore, Felipe Nascimento, who was the champion of the cupping competition in Brazil in 2020, visited the coffee hunters at WeCoffeeing. Over 20 types of roasted coffee beans were analyzed, and samples will soon be introduced to Korea, selecting the most suitable green beans for the Korean audience. All our coffee sample varieties were analyzed and recommended by cupping expert Felipe Nascimento, who was the champion in the 2020 Brazilian cupping contest.
